The Baily
Perched on Howth Head, The Baily lighthouse was first built in 1667 and later rebuilt in 1790. It was the last Irish lighthouse to be fully automated in 1997, marking the end of an era for lighthouse keepers in Ireland. Overlooking Dublin Bay, the lighthouse has been a crucial guide for ships navigating the treacherous waters near the city for centuries, while offering stunning views of the surrounding coastline.
