Beeves Rock
Established in 1855, Beeves Rock Lighthouse sits at the confluence of the River Fergus and River Shannon in County Clare. The lighthouse has witnessed various maritime incidents, including the crash of a Dutch aircraft carrying diamonds in 1957. Today, Beeves Rock continues to be a significant navigational aid, standing on a rock only accessible at low tide.
