The Maidens
The Maidens Lighthouse, established in 1829, sits on two islets off the County Antrim coast in the North Channel. Originally featuring two towers, only the East Maidens light remains active today. The lighthouse has a rich history, with keepers once living on the isolated rocks year-round. Its distinctive location and storied past make it a unique landmark along the Northern Irish coastline.
