Rockabill
Rockabill lighthouse, completed in 1860, stands on a rocky islet off the coast of Skerries in County Dublin. Its construction was prompted by the high number of shipwrecks in the area, and the lighthouse has since played an important role in ensuring the safety of vessels navigating these waters. Rockabill is also a significant site for seabird conservation, as it hosts Ireland’s largest breeding population of roseate terns.
